Women entrepreneurs in India have come a long way, India is been male dominated country ever since it's origin. All the major decisions of family were taken by eldest man of family, but after independent period the change is been seen women started getting basic rights. There is change in stereotypes people started including woman in many important decisions.

Being in a country which is is been male dominated over a long period and making your own identity is really a tough task. but In the past couple of decades, the status of women in Indian society has changed drastically and women emerged in many sectors such as defence, economy and business. 

Today, Women have been playing a vital role in the growth of the Indian economy and have made a big impact and got success in almost every sector.

She was awarded by Padma Shree for her impacable performance in real estate industry. and now inheritance is been forwarded by many womans such Vandana Luthra(VLCC) , Suchi Mukherjee (Limeroad), Falguni Nayar (nykaa) and many more.

As per the report by Google and Bain & Company released in February 2020. it has points out that women’s entrepreneurship can help advance the cause of financial inclusion of women in the country. the total share of 13.5 to 15.7 million women-owned enterprises make up 20 percent of all the enterprises in the country. This is a rise from 14 percent to the current 20 percent over the last decade.

Job creation :-

Woman entrepreneurs also have major potential in job creation. As per joint report of brains & company and google Women in entrepreneurship can generate transformational employment in India with 150–170 million job opportunities, which is more than 25% of the new jobs required for the entire working age population by 2030.
